Baer is looking for an Senior SAP EPPM and Project Systems (PS) Functional Consultant for a 12+ month located in Atlanta, GA.
Title: Senior SAP EPPM and Project Systems (PS) Functional Consultant
Location: Onsite 2 to 3 Days Per Week in Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months Contract-to-Hire
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with construction business units to configure and support SAP S/4 HANA for client processes.
- Evaluate construction business processes and propose enhancements with cost-benefit analyses.
- Lead EPPM project activities and coordinate with team members to meet business requirements.
- Provide leadership, direction, and issue resolutions related to EPPM business processes, PS, and FI.
- Offer solutions, guidance, and recommendations for new business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, documentation, and development methodologies.
- Execute project activities related to EPPM, PS, FICO functions ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Anticipate project deviations and escalate the need for corrective action.
- Act as the gatekeeper of the SAP template for the Construction functional area.
- Maintain documentation library for EPPM processes, design, and configuration.
- Assist with integration, unit, and user acceptance testing, including test case preparation.
- Support security design and maintenance, including oversight of finance approvals.
- Coordinate with external vendors and Banks for system integrations and upgrades.
- Investigate, analyze, and escalate support issues from the construction business team.
- Support cross-functional priorities and lead ongoing reviews of business processes for optimization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP EPPM, PS, FICO experience, preferably in the construction or mining industry.
- In-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP EPPM, FI, CO, PS, AP, AR.
- Strong understanding of the integration between EPPM, FI, MM, SD, PM, and PP modules.
- Experience with revenue recognition processes, tax solutions integration with SAP, and SAP Data Migration.
- Ability to independently solve complex functional issues and manage customer expectations.
- Experience with OSS utilization and submitting support messages to SAP.
- Bachelor's/University Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Information Technology.
- SAP Certification in EPPM, FICO, PS modules is highly desired.
