Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant. The ideal candidate will be a senior functional expert capable of designing, configuring, and implementing SAP RAR solutions. This role requires deep SAP functional knowledge, business process expertise, and hands-on configuration experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and configuration of SAP RAR solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system designs.
- Configure revenue recognition rules, contracts, performance obligations, and postings in SAP RAR.
- Collaborate with Finance, and Sales teams to ensure accurate revenue treatment for promotions, rebates, and trade agreements.
- Design end-to-end revenue accounting solutions aligned with IFRS15 / ASC606 compliance standards.
- Support integration between SAP modules including SD, FI, and COPA.
- Develop functional documentation, test scripts, and configuration guides.
- Execute and support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot issues, analyze defects, and implement fixes or enhancements.
- Provide SME guidance to business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Participate in workshops, solution architecture discussions, and client presentations.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of SAP experience, with strong focus on SAP RAR functional consulting.
- Hands-on expertise configuring RAR components including:
- Revenue contracts
- Performance obligations
- Revenue postings
- Allocation rules
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC606 / IFRS15).
- Experience designing and documenting functional specifications.
- Ability to work independently in client-facing environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Must be available to work PST hours
