Baer is looking for SAP HCM On-Prem Reporting & Controls Consultant for a 5+ month remote project
Title: SAP HCM On-Prem Reporting & Controls Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 5 months - - Full-time Nov–Dec (3 days/week during holiday weeks); Part-time (2 days/week) mid-Jan–Mar 30, 2026.
Rate: All-Inclusive

Description:
- Assess current SAP HCM Payroll and Benefits configuration, including wage types, schemas/PCRs, eligibility rules, taxability, and interfaces to recordkeepers.
- Perform SECURE 2.0 gap analysis aligned with customer plan design and SAP capabilities.
- Identify and prioritize required configuration and reporting changes for compliance readiness.
- Identify and apply relevant SAP Notes and support packages for U.S. Payroll/Benefits.
- Support updates to payroll schema/PCR logic, wage type catalog, and tax classifications.
- Enhance HR and Payroll reporting and audit controls for compliance tracking and long-term part-time eligibility.
- Strengthen security and access controls for HR/Payroll, including encryption and signing of outbound interfaces.
- Improve reporting accuracy across Payroll, Benefits, and recordkeeper interfaces (file/API/SFTP).
- Participate in unit, integration, and parallel payroll testing.
- Support UAT and recordkeeper certification testing.
- Assist with cutover planning, go-live execution, and post go-live hypercare.
Requirements:
- Experience with SAP HCM On-Prem (Payroll, Benefits, and Reporting).
- Strong knowledge of reporting, compliance, and internal control processes.
- Familiarity with U.S. Payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and taxability rules.
- Experience with data security, encryption, and access control in HR/Payroll environments.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills in a remote team setting.
