Baer is looking for an OpenText Architect for a 2-month Federal project located in Harrisburg, PA.
Title: OpenText Architect
Location: Hybrid - Harrisburg, PA (Travel required up to 50%)
Duration: 2 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Description:
- Architect and design integrated solutions involving SAP S/4HANA and OpenText xECM to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the SAP Lead Architect to define and develop the overall solution architecture.
- Create functional specifications and detailed estimates for project deliverables where necessary.
- Provide architectural guidance on system administration, migration planning, and security strategies for the OpenText and SAP S/4HANA landscape.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP and OpenText systems, optimizing both performance and resource utilization.
- Lead architectural discussions and workshops with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive solution design.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in OpenText and SAP S/4HANA implementations, ensuring the scalability and sustainability of the solution.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in the implementation process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an OpenText Architect with a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and OpenText xECM.
- In-depth knowledge of architecting solutions in SAP S/4HANA and OpenText, including system administration, migration planning, and security.
- Strong ability to create functional specifications, develop estimates, and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Experience working in large-scale, complex public sector projects, preferably state and local government environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including SAP architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with security aspects related to SAP and OpenText implementations.
