Baer is looking for an SAP Supply Chain Execution Architect for a 12-month Federal remote project.
Title: SAP Supply Chain Execution Architect
Location: Remote and Washington DC
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Description:
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Execution solutions, focusing on Federal Government needs and adhering to DoD standards.
- Develop and implement inter-agency and intra-agency supply chain solutions, particularly within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) framework.
- Collaborate closely with public sector clients, ensuring that solutions meet state-level public sector requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with functional (business) teams to gather requirements, present solutions, and guide decision-making processes.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations on supply chain execution, logistics, and transportation management (MM, EWM, IM, TM) within S/4HANA.
- Oversee the integration of supply chain processes across various agencies, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Government regulations and standards throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding them through complex supply chain execution challenges.
Requirements:
- Strong background in working with Federal Government agencies, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD). At least minimal experience in state-level public sector projects.
- Proven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA, with a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and functionalities.
- In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Execution processes (MM, EWM, IM, TM) at a governmental level, with experience in managing inter-agency (especially DLA) and intra-agency movements.
- Experience in leading workshops with functional (business) teams, guiding discussions, and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a
Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
