**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active Top-Secret Clearance**
Baer is looking for SAP ABAP Developer for a 15+ month Federal project in Chantilly, VA.
Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Duration: 15 Months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Individual Corp Only)
Description:
- Responsible for developing and enhancing SAP applications using ABAP programming language within the ECC environment.
- Support ECC custom code remediation.
- Split Brownfield, with some rewrites / greenfield.
- Once the upgrade is done support customers transformation.
- Use SAP’s remediation tools: Supply Chain, MM, Plant Maintenance, Travel, Assets, Custom Apps.
- Enhancements and Interface development.
- Design, code, test, and troubleshoot SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the ECC environment.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and enhancements (RICEF objects).
- Implement and support SAP workflows and user exits.
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP ECC and other systems.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of ABAP programs.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and response time.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed programs and solutions.
- Ensure that code complies with company standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support for SAP ECC applications, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Participate in SAP ECC system upgrades and enhancement projects.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, with a focus on ECC.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules and business processes.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including debugging and performance tuning.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and other modern SAP technologies is a plus.
- SAP certification in ABAP development is desirable.
- SAP S/4 experience nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- *Active Top Secret Clearance Required with ability to obtain FSP
